Leadership Team
Scott Wendland,
President/CEO
Mr. Wendland has spent more than 20 years at the forefront of technology deployment and construction management within the telecommunications industry. He began his career as an electrical engineer for a Department of Defense contractor, where he developed a strong foundation in precision, safety, and technical execution.
In 2005, he founded a company dedicated to supporting nationwide technology deployments, gaining firsthand experience in the challenges of large-scale infrastructure implementation. By 2012, he joined Black & Veatch as a Program Manager, where he led high-performing teams and successfully managed complex projects across multiple markets until 2020.
Throughout his career, Mr. Wendland has become a nationally recognized subject matter expert and thought leader in telecom construction. He has contributed to the advancement of industry standards and safety practices through his involvement with organizations such as the Cellular Telecommunications and Internet Association (CTIA), the Board of Certified Safety Professionals (BCSP), and the National Wireless Safety Association (NWSA).
Erica Porter,
COO
Mrs. Porter brings an extensive background in executive leadership, operations management, and investment strategy, with a proven record of building efficiency, structure, and growth across multiple industries. A driven self-starter and seasoned communicator, she has led programs and operations of varying sizes and complexity with precision and strategic insight.
After earning two degrees from the University of Colorado Boulder and gaining early experience at a private investment firm, Mrs. Porter founded a successful small business providing high-level executive assistance and operations management to organizations in both the public and private sectors.
In 2013, she took on a major leadership role as Program Director for a $15 million ARC Thrift Stores initiative, where she was recognized as an innovative and inspiring leader within Colorado’s retail and non-profit communities.
In 2021, Mrs. Porter made a personal investment in NICX and assumed the role of Chief Operations Officer, where she continues to drive organizational excellence, operational efficiency, and sustainable growth for the company.
